Cody & Olivia

Oh what a day this was! Cody and Olivia have such a special bond that will continue to grow through their lives together as husband and wife. I was so lucky to capture their special day.

The day started early for me as I traveled down to the river side to get drone footage of the scenic ceremony area. Once finished, I headed to the beauty salon to meet Olivia and her bridesmaids who could hardly contain their excitement for the big day ahead, as they laughed and enjoyed each other’s company.

I then met Cody at the hotel with his groomsmen. Cody gifted the groomsmen hilarious “Saturday’s are for the boys” towels initialed with the date of the wedding. What I loved most about Cody was his loving and happy personality as he helped all of his groomsmen get ready. After filming the boys, I headed to the girls’ suite to film Olivia getting her final touches done as she put on her elegant, all lace gown. The bridesmaids large bouquets complimented their taupe-colored gowns nicely.

The ceremony began in the afternoon. Although, very windy, it did not distract from this beautiful ceremony. Olivia’s father walked her down the aisle as they smiled and laughed along the way. Cody could not stop smiling as soon as he saw her. The couple recited their vows to one another and exchanged rings.

The reception followed at Rich’s Catering and Special Events in Buffalo, New York and was very tastefully decorated. This venue had gorgeous a gorgeous tall ceiling that allowed for large centerpieces and trees. After the toasts were made, dancing commenced. The couple and the guests danced the night away while also enjoying the cupcakes and a photobooth.

What stood out to me most about this couple was how much they enjoy being together, laughing and joking. They are completely comfortable being in each other’s arms and there is no placed they would rather be. This couple brings out the best in one another. Truly inspiring.
