Lindsay and Scott had the most perfect day held in their hometown of Allegany, NY. They had a nice church ceremony followed by a fun reception at a local Country Club. Lindsay and Scott have been together for 10 years and I have no doubt that they have made their time together something to remember.
When I first met Lindsay at our meeting, I loved connecting with her and fed off her excitement. The morning finally came a few months later for me to film. I arrived at her house to find her surrounded by her best friends, laughing and talking. The bridesmaids were dressed in red with bright, vibrant colored flowers for their bouquets. Lindsay chose a gorgeous, strapless gown and a the most gorgeous vale I have seen yet. She spent the morning getting ready with the help of her family and bridesmaids. Moments like those make me the happiest seeing everyone together and helping the bride.
Meanwhile, the boys were getting ready at Scott’s parent’s house. I sent my second shooter to film the boys and I am so happy that I did. Although I was not there in person, I can see by the footage just how much fun they were having and how much trouble they were getting into. As seen in the video, the boys spent their morning shooting beer out of a gun at a tree. Just another reason why I love seeing the difference between how women get ready compared to how men get ready before the wedding.
The afternoon came quickly and the ceremony started. It was a beautiful church ceremony that touched upon the love story of Lindsay and Scott and just how perfect they are for one another. The Priest beautifully expressed who Lindsay and Scott are as a couple including their interests and lovely personalities. There were a lot of laughs and happy tears as these two said “I Do.” After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their bridal party hopped on a school bus decorated by the bridesmaids.
The reception was held at the Bartlett Country Club located in Olean, NY. The dining room was decorated with gorgeous flowers and pictures of the couple throughout the years. On top of the fireplace were pictures of the couple’s parents on their wedding day. The reception began as soon as the couple made their entrance. Lindsay surprised Scott with a dance that she performed with her bridesmaids. It was such a fun and special moment that I absolutely loved. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, laughter, and smiles.
Lindsay and Scott express happiness when they are around one another. They love to make each other laugh and always have the biggest smiles when they are together. They truly were made for one another and I can’t wait to see where their love will take them.
